Printable DIY Deathly Hallows Wreath Tutorial
One of our favorite discussions in this house is which one of the Deathly Hallows we would want because we’re nerds and that’s what we do.
I have always loved the cloak because he lives a long and happy life filled with loved ones with it. I don’t know that there is a better thing than that in the world.
This wreath is the perfect nerdy piece of décor to display between seasons on the door but it also looks great on the wall year-round. It’s also a reminder to us to keep what’s most important front and center in our lives, each other.

DIY Deathly Hallows Wreath Materials
Bamboo Wreath (Dollar Tree)
12 inch Dowel (Comes in Multi-pack at Dollar Tree)
Copper Spray Paint
Hot Glue Gun and Glue sticks
Garland (Dollar Tree)
Scissors

Step 1 – Make Your Wand
First add hot glue to the wooden dowel. Start by swirling the hot glue all the way around the wooden dowel starting from the bottom.

Then add a lot of additional hot glue to the bottom to form a handle. Next add a small amount of extra hot glue to the top.

Step 2 – Paint Wreath Elements
Prep your plungers for painting by removing the rubber bottoms from them. These simply twist off.
Then spray paint the wooden dowel wand and the plunger handles with copper spray paint. Set them aside to dry completely.

Step 3 – Add Greenery to Wreath
While your painted pieces dry, wrap the garland around the bamboo wreath. Secure the ends of the garland to the wreath with hot glue.

Step 4 – Assemble Wreath Base
After your paint has dried, hot glue the ends of the wooden plungers together in a triangle shape.

Next, wrap the jute twine around the ends of the plunger handles as each glued corned.

Step 5 – Finalize Your Wreath
After the base is assembled, hot glue the garland wrapped bamboo wreath to the center of the wooden triangle. I added hot glue to the spots that came in contact with the bamboo wreath to secure it.

Lastly, hot glue your wand in the center of the wreath so that it crosses the center of the garland wrapped bamboo wreath.

Tips and Tricks
You can hang this wreath on a wreath hanger without adding anything to it. However, you can an additional loop of jute twine at the top of the triangle to hang your wreath if desired. Do this during step 4.
